Women's Cardiac Rehab at Morton Plant Mease Hospitals, Clearwater

June 2010
In June 2010, the Chapter donated $1,950.00 to the Morton Plant Mease Hospital Foundation to be used by the Women's Cardiac Rehab Program. The program, run by Ann Murphy-Hough, RN, is aimed at women who need to restructure their lives after cardiac diagnosis and/or surgery. The program presents speakers who will help the patients reduce their risks through attitude and emotional controls. The donation will pay the speakers' fees for this year. The Morton Plant Mease Foundation was so pleased with the donation for this purpose that they matched our money so the Program may spend $3,800.00.
The Tampa Bay Chapter has been invited to attend any of the Morton Plant Mease presentations.
